At Save the Children of Mbale, we proudly support the Mbale Child Care Foundation, a refuge for 50 orphans and a sanctuary for 70 single, vulnerable mothers. MCCF ensures that these individuals have access to their daily essentials. Our mission extends beyond mere assistance, aiming to foster self-sufficiency through empowering initiatives. We provide educational opportunities for community mothers to acquire skills, enabling them to secure their independence and maintain family unity.
In addition, MCCF has recently acquired its own land. Once financed, we can hope to develop and enhance sustainable programs, furthering our commitment to long-term self-reliance.

Tony, the President and Founder of Mbale Child Care Foundation, along with Sharon and Sarah, serves as dedicated caregivers, offering their wholehearted care to children who have come to them, many of whom were abandoned by their single mothers.
They offer guidance and a supportive hand to children who have experienced a turbulent and challenging past. Their unwavering commitment is to empower vulnerable children and youth within their community.
We are now initiating our empowerment programs, focusing on supporting single mothers in the community to become self-sufficient. Together, we are taking steps to build a more self-reliant and brighter future for all.
